Why? Allow me to lay it out for you in simple terms you will understand:
1. Herm Edwards. See Jets, New York.
2. They need to start a QB. As much as they would like to direct snap it to Larry and cut out the middle man, opponents may catch on to that quick pretty quick--they cannot play the Packers and Lions all season long unfortunately. And when you look at their QB situation they got a 38 year old Trent Green looking like a scared chipmunk since his concussion or Who-ard. Hmmm, maybe they should direct snap it to Larry after all...
