Shaq is the man for bitch-slapping Walton

Heard this soundbite from Shaq on KNBR driving home regarding an accusation Bill Walton made that he was faking injury in Miami. I don't know if he was faking or not, but Walton is such a douchebag that it's sweet to see someone just pummel him publicly. Have a listen:

While I found it very difficult to argue against the merits of bitch-slapping Bill Walton, I have to say that in this case, I'm with Walton. Shaq makes something close to $30MM per year and the type of effort and care he has been displaying for the past 18 months is truly pathetic. The Heat have won 9 games this ENTIRE year. That's right, 9 games. You would hope Shaq's pride would at least force him to make a little bit of effort to help Flash in a game or two here and there.

Overall, I think Shaq is one of the most over-rated players in the history of the game. He has five rings, but that is largely because he had 1)Kobe and; 2)Flash at the end of all big games, when he becomes a useless turd, consuming valuable oxygen that his star teammates desperately need. I also submit that Shaq gets away with no less than 10 offensive fouls per game, swinging his massively large arms across the faces of all defenders that attempt to cover him. The game of basketball was not designed to be played that way. Stern likes his personality and the ratings he draws, so they allow him to play that ridiculous style.
