Mike Conley Jr. will be better than Chris Paul

I'm watching Conley break down Tennessee's defense on every single play tonight. I've watched him do this to many teams this year and the dude is just a freshman. He is as composed as any freshman point guard in memory.

The value of a PG like that should never be underestimated. Look at the impact of Chris Paul at New Orleans. I think Conley will be even better. He is strong, smart, and cool as a cucumber. I might have a man crush.

I accept that you have a man crush, but he isn't as good as Chris Paul and never will be. When is the last time you've seen Conley Jr. hit a jumper? He's TJ Ford. Can drive, can dish, can break you down off the dribble, quick, but still got no "J". Not knocking TJ Ford, but he has his limitations and defenses should play to that. Same with Conley Jr. Play him to drive, and force him to hit a jumper.

Chris Paul stepped in immediately and made Wake a contender. They weren't that good before him and pretty bad after him. Paul could do it all, be the scorer, be the PG, hit J's from the outside, and take you inside. I'll take Paul any day over Conley Jr.

Nope. Chris Paul is the real deal. He is one of the top 5 point guards in the league right now. He got speed, quickness, and an improving jump shot. Conley Jr. will be a decent pro, but not top notch.

I agree, Conley needs to work on his jumper... a lot. But he's the kind of guy that will improve leaps and bounds every year and his genes will take him higher and higher. I didn't say that he was better NOW, but he'll be a dominant PG in the NBA..even better than CP.

That won't happen. Paul will continue to get better as well. Paul is also very strong. He reminds me of Baron Davis, with a more consistent game.
