Mavericks far from the best

Okay Dallas is currently riding a 17 game winning streak and are sitting at 52-9. Pretty impressive, although they are lucky they haven't played San Antonio, who is riding its own 12 game streak, in the last two weeks. Still, I bet you Dallas doesn't win the Western Conference. With Timmy healthy they will lose to the Spurs or else the Phoenix will find a way to slip through.

And we definitely shouldn't compare Dallas to other regular season greats. I think the 96/97 Bulls and the 82/83 Sixers set the standard for most dominant regular season teams.

Anyway want to disagree with me on that?

You are dismissing Dallas way too quickly. They would have won the championship last year had the refs not given the series to D Wade and the Heat. What a sham. This year, Dallas is even better than last year, as witness by winning the past 38 out of 40 games. That is AMAZING . I like your picks for top teams, but I'll put the Mavs right there with them. The Laker team from I think it was 2001 was pretty darn good too.

My vote goes to TheColonel just because I got to see a picture of The Chief.

By the way, check out the picture of Moses. He was the strongest guy on the court 25 years ago. But in this picture he looks almost lanky compared to some of the muscleheads in today's NBA.

I voted for Wolverine, but Nowitzki is going to have to stop choking if they are going to have any chance. Yes, the refs had a big helping hand in the Heat championship last year, but Dirk got tight which certainly helped Miami's cause.
