They will not make the playoff and they still suck. I don't think Burk will make a diffrence only that he will mess things up.

Nothing matters now March and April are where you end up and I applaud the leafs and hope they keep winning and finish in 9th place so they miss out on the first draft pick as part of Fletchers plans. So I would say they aren't on target to complete what they want which is a high draft pick.

Everything is falling into place for the Leafs. They are sitting in a playoff spot and they get stronger every game. The young players are playing with alot of heart and are never out of a game even when they are down 2 or 3 goals. The goaltending is getting better of late and coach Wilson's decision to sit players seems to make them better. In a week or two, Burke will join the team as the new GM and will surely add some toughness to the lineup. At the start of the season I did not think I'd be saying this in November, but the Leafs are exciting to watch and have a real shot at making the playoffs. It is finally good to be a Leaf's fan. Ottawa on the other hand, the slide continues!

No sense going after the first draft pick this year, the Senators will beat us to that! Ottawa can't score goals this year even with all their talent. Hartsburg won't make it to the end of the year. When the Leafs make the playoffs this year, at least they won't be able to beat Ottawa again... they'll be golfing!

I agree with Cowboy2. He really knows what he's talking about! The Leafs have taken the first steps to rebuilding. Burke says these are the easiest steps. Now taking a good team and moving into the upper tier will be tough. Something Ottawa never quite achieved with all their disappointing playoff performances. Now the Sens have reached bottom. Hey, Fletcher might be available soon if you want to start rebuilding!

A big win in Edmonton last night! Nice to see the Leafs scoring lots of goals this year.

Too bad, I only see 4 more games on the schedule against the Sens. 8 easy points!

Maybe it would be a more competitive game if the Sens played the Marlies next time at the ACC

Burke is free to talk to other clubs now. He'll be in Toronto within the week
