A few conspiracy theorists believe that the CIA concocted the AIDS virus in the 50s in an effort to rid the world of those Bolshevism- inspiring hemophiliacs. Whether they believe this to be true or not, the producers at ESPN concocted a platform in which to allow Stuart Scott to beset the sports world like hemorrhagic fever. With phrases like "must be butter because its on a roll" and "cooler than the other side of the pillow" Scott debases his subject and his audience. The same audience is further assaulted when the Michael Jordan is crowned the Greatest Living Sports Figure in the Universe. It's great for Budweiser and Nike, but bad for sports.

As one of the first cable families in America, circa 1980, my family fully embraced ESPN and MTV when they first arrived on the scene. ESPN pushed the sports programming envelop and for that I will always be grateful.

To your point about ESPN being bad for sports....let's explore these feelings. Why do all the ESPN haters continue to watch the Four Letter Network? There actually are other options you know. Fox Sports. Comcast Sports. Etc. You watch because ESPN is well produced. Scott and Berman aside, SportsCenter is still a good show. I am hopefull that Scott and Berman will be put to pasture soon.

At least they ended the Michael Irvine charade.

I LOVE PONIES!!!! I like wanted one when i was a little girl, but mommy and daddy got me implants intead. parents can be like such bummers sometimes. oh wellz, at least i get the boys...just like my britney!!! um, so yeah...i'll go with the horsey.

but seriously, espn sux. for reals.

i really hate it when they like play those 15 minute thingies that make me cry. like how little timmy with the extra arm and mental defect won the ping pong champyonship game in like superovertime. ALWAYZ makes me cry! espeshially whit the super sad music that they use for every piece and the sentimental photo zoom ins. KLEENEX someone, like now!

and don't get me started on the sportzcenter anchors. they are LaMe! they think they r sooooo funny with there big words and stuff. ugh. i hate big words. like "smug". that's what the anchors are...cuz i looked up the word in the dickshunary and someone said it's a good word.

so yah...i'll go with mister horsey! you're so pretttttty!!! i'd trade my boobz for you ANY day.
