The college game is far inferior to the pro game. The pro game would be even better if it weren't for the terrible officiating. The talent level difference is tremendous. Also, people talk about the effort level. I know some regular season NBA game leave something to be desired, but that is understandable with 82 games. In the playoffs, the effort is there. |

Hard to compare college basketball to the NFL. More games in college, more teams in college, and games aren't always played on set days of the week (Sunday, Monday and sometimes Thursday). I'll take my college hoops over a fairer comparison of the NBA. NBA has much better talent, but the officiating, the lack of "real" coaching affecting play and outcomes, and the lack of defense makes the college game better for me to watch. |
